Windschutzscheibe
Die S1000XR wird von BMW als Adventure-Sport-Bike bezeichnet, die schon sehr gut ausgestattet ab Werk ausgeliefert wird. Die nun deutlicher auf Touren ausgelegte S1000XR verliert dennoch nichts von ihrer Dynamik.Für diese BMW bietet MRA drei verschiedene Scheiben an: Die Vario-X-Creen-Scheibe (VXCM) ist insgesamt auf höchster Position 54,5cm lang. Alle Erfahrungen aus den bewährten, verstellbaren MRA Scheiben, wie Varioscreen (V), Vario-Tourenscheibe (VT) oder X- Creen (XC)waren die Grundlage für die Entwicklung dieser neuen, zweiteiligen Scheibe. Auffällig dabei ist das große Oberteil, welches mit insgesamt drei Doppelgelenken an der Basisscheibe befestigt ist. Dadurch ergibt sich eine besonders stabile Verbindung, auch bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten.Durch die vielen Einstellmöglichkeiten in Winkel, Länge und Abstand lässt sich der Luftstrom zwischen Scheibe und Scheibenoberteil so lenken, dass der Winddruck nahezu turbulenzfrei nach oben abgelenkt wird und sich Helm und Oberkörper im Windschatten befinden.Die Vario-X-Creen ist in farblos und rauchgrau erhältlich.
Diese Scheibe besteht aus zwei Teilen, die obere Hälfte kann um 5 cm in der Höhe verstellt werden. Auf diese Weise sowie durch die Verstellmöglichkeiten in der Neigung kann die optimale Position individuell erzielt werden.
